Eric is a young man who played baseball with my two younger sons. (Now ages 29 and 27) and went on to pitch with the University of Tennessee. He got in touch with me at the request of his Dad. He had been experiencing debiliting low back and sciatic pain and was advised that his only 2 options were additional injections or surgery. We worked together to go over his other options (many of which he had never been told about) and also implemented the Motion Reponse System. Thankfully, surgery was avoided and he is currently pain free. Here is what Eric said. “I am thankful that Ron was able to give me options that no one else had mentioned. Most importantly, the option of taking care of this on my own.”

Ben (on the right with his son and brother) is a firefighter-paramedic. He developed severe low back pain after a training session and was finiding it more difficult to handle his work responsibilities. As a recent hire, he did not have the ability to take time off from his job. 4 weeks of Chiropractic care was ineffective, and in fact, he felt he was worsening. He was put in touch with me by his friend, a former client of mine. Ben took the motion response self-test, which showed he met the criteria for having a favorable response to the program. After one session he was pain free. He was advised of how to use the various movements during the course of his work-day and he was diligent with performing them. After 3 days his pain, although occasionally still present, was mimimal. But, most importantly, he told me, “I now know exactly what to do when my back begins to ache, and have more confidence knowing that I am able to control it.”

This is my wife, Cindy, a fit, athletic, 60 year old who had been experiencing more frequent episodes of Low Back Pain that limited her activity. Over time, she became discouraged because of how this condition was affecting her ability to do what she wanted to do. Rather than have her seen by a Physical Therapist or Chiropractor, I showed her the principles of Motion Response Training, and had her perform the movements as often as needed, going into great detail about understanding the mechanisms that precipitated her pain. Within a few days her pain lessened greatly and she was able to return to her normal workout routine. Although she still has occasional pain, she is now able to recognize what causes it, and immediately implement the proper movements that reduce it.

Frequently Asked Questions About Motion Response Training

  1. Can you guarantee that this program will work for me? No, I cannot. No one, including me, can give you a guarantee that any type of treatment you receive will “work”. In fact, you should walk away from anyone who offers you a guarantee of treatment success. However, I do guarantee that if you are not satisfied with your results, the money you paid will be promptly refunded.

  2. How can I find out if something like this would help me? You can click the link above to take the Motion Response Self-Test which will give you a good idea if you are a good candidate for this program. You can also click the link above to arrange for a Free Discovery Session, where we will talk one-on-one to give you an idea of what you can expect from me, what I expect of you, how the program works, as well as the fee for enrollment.

  3. How are you different than other professionals that I have seen or could see? Here are a few examples of how I differ from others:

    • My only role is to give you the tools to help yourself. Knowing how to do this, you will probably see how, in most situations, you will NOT need treatment from others. There is no one in the spine-care system today that has the incentive to do this because each professional you see earns their living promoting their form of treatment, rather than showing you how to help yourself and why treatment may not be needed.

    • I earn no money on any type of treatment you may be considering (except for this self-help program). This means, I have no incentive to try to convince you that one type of treatment is better than another. This allows me to be impartial, and objective, about the numerous treatment options available and to help you know what those treatments do, and the results you could reasonably expect from any of them.

    • I probably have more front-line experience, with a wide variety of treatments and the clinicians treating low back pain, than most anyone you could talk with. I have been a spine-care consultant for over 28 years, many of which were in the neurosurgical department of a large neuroscience practice. My career did NOT involve treating patients, but rather helping them understand their options, so that they could make choices that were in line with their expectations and the unique circumstances of their lives. This experience has given me a “front seat view” of the good, bad, and everything in between about the different types of treatment that are available. It has also let me clearly see that the people who do the best, are the ones that take responsibility for helping themselves. However, doing so takes guidance, and reliable information. This is something that is sorely lacking in today’s spine care system.

  4. What are the basics of Motion Response Training? In a nutshell, here is what is involved:

    • You will learn to understand the Mechanisms of pain/injury and why this is more important that trying to figure out what part of your body (spine) is injured. The 3 main mechanisms are, stretch, compression, and friction. Knowing how and when these occur will give you the ability to reduce your exposure to them, serve as the primary guide to using the proper combinations of movements to reduce your pain, and go a long way to preventing reinjury.

    • You will then learn the 8 basic Movements that will give you the ability to reduce or eliminate your pain (often quickly) almost anytime or anywhere. These Smart Movements are performed from 3 positions, and follow 3 simple rules that focus on repetition, and understanding the difference between hurt and harm.

    • You will be have lifetime access to digital materials (and also have personal interaction with me) to help you avoid the Mistakes that are commonly made which lead to bigger problems.

    • The fourth part of the program involes Mastery. By this, I mean that your situation differs from others and these differences are a determinant of why, when, and how to implement the various movements you have learned. This part of the program also goes into what you can do to give your the best chance of making low back pain a distant, remote, memory.

Additional Free BenefitsWhen Enrolled in This Program

  1. Lifetime access to a private Facebook group to give you ongoing support and information, not only written and video, but also live Facebook question and answer sessions.

  2. Lifetime access to live group coaching calls, held at least weekly, to provide “real time” guidance for any concerns that may arise.

  3. Free lifetime access to a digital library that, among other things will give you accurate information about:

    • How to keep the right type of clinical score. Knowing this will help you determine IF treatment is even necessary, measure your own progress, compare one treatment to another, and have realistic expectations from any type of treatment you may be considering.

    • The various treatment options that are available to you, how they actually work (meaning the effect they have on your body) and how well they perform. (meaning the results you could expect, on average, from any type of treatment).

    • How to make treatment choices that are a good fit for your life. The system, that I have developed, shows you how to assess your personal situation, evaluate the risk/benefit ratio of various treatments, and dives deep into the questions that you need to ask yourself before undergoing any type of treatment.

  4. You will also get a lifetime discount of 75%, off of my usual fee, for any private one-on-one coaching sessions that you would want to arrange.
